Fire

Pray for love. This album was raw, powerful, and emotional. I loved it so much. I thought the album could’ve benefited from a couple more tracks, but this is seriously some legendary shit my goodness.

Amazing

After countless re listens and almost a year of contemplating I can't deny it anymore this shits a goddamn masterpiece. I think when I initially listened back a couple months ago I was unfairly comparing it to the emotional potency of its predecessor "World's End Fruit Basket". However I now realize that this album's approach may be different but works just as well to convey its passion and emotions. Insane album.

Damn… this was something. It gets so emotional in some parts with atmospheric titans of songs. This project genuinely pulls you down so deep to its level but also raises you up when needed, visibly dark everywhere but not without its illuminating beautiful acoustic sections that brought tears to my eyes. Holy hell what an album

Very underrated, incredible songs.

Starts off with one of the best songs ever made. The rest of the album is pretty good with some incredible highlights such as New York City in the Future which made my jaw drop after hearing it. Really great project but has weaker moments in between the longer tracks.

Great EP from an upcoming artist. In the future I think their music could use more somber moments in between these large and free flowing songs to make the tracks stand out more from each other and become that much more impactful. Really great overall.

Absolutely insane, could have been a 10 if not for some weak moments in the last track as well as some minor issues within the buildups.

Fuck yes, overall I think this is a pretty damn good album from swans but not their strongest. It's still violent, but lighter and more meditative than most of their projects. Most of my complaints come from a couple of the songs not having a clear enough execution in their ideas and being sort of all over the place, as well as relying on past ideas. I do wish the album flowed a little bit better as well as the songs having better structure and being pushed further. I'm sort of biased ... read more

Had a lot of potential, some songs fail to go anywhere while others leave their mark, overall a great album that has some very interesting moments but sometimes fails in getting you invested.
