I'm confused, I love some of it, I don't hate anything here. I'll give it an 8, but this is true art, you can feel this in some time will maybe become a masterpiece, but I can't tell it surely yet. We back and I'm not even sure to believe it.
I love Kanye, because he showed us that art has still some space in the music industry, while lots of kids listen to yeat.
Tony ha qualcosa in ... read more
That's a really good album, I love that the features are only from less-known artists (except for SZA).
It's not only rap which you would expect from Kendrick and, even if I don't necessary love tracks like "luther" I think that it fits well in the album.
Nothing more to say, that's not masterpiece level but it's pretty strong, K-Dot didn't let us down.
A really good album, I like the genre a lot and I think Cordae has a strong talent for it.
The beats are incredible and I think this is one of the best albums of the year really.
I didn't know much Cordae before, but after listening to this I think I'll listen to his older works.
I'm not a great fan of Tyler but this is undeniably good, the production is astonishing and so are his performance through the album.
The featurings are good but not exceptional, there aren't bad songs, just some mids here and there.
Sometimes the lyrics are just a little too much, but that's ok for me.
Not a bad album, yeah there are some awful songs in it, but also some hits, like "precision" and "yes".
I didn't really have expectations, so I'm quite surprised, it was an easy listen.
The production is consistent, the features are not great, however Gunna did a good job in "it is what it is".
Nothing unforgettable, I don't think I'll ever come back to do a relisten, but some of the song will might get on my playlists.
I swear I don't get how someone could listen to this album and like it.
I'm not an hater, but in the record the artist doesn't show any talent, the only thing good is the production that (I suppose) is not his work.
I think that the album could have been made in one week, weak lyrics, weak flow, and weak mixing.
The only song that (maybe) I slightly liked is "ship her off", worst album I've listened to this year.
Wow, this album is incredible, among my favorite album ever, and I'm not exaggerating.
Never heard of jev before and, although I understand he can sound similar to Kendrick, he's incredibly good.
The real rating should be 98, but I gave it a 100 'cause I'm confident this will be my AOTY at the end of the 2024.
I don't get why the score is so low, yeah 77 it's not bad, but this is a perfect album, or at least close to perfect.
Don't like the album at all, with this style of rap I expect strong lyrics, but he doesn't say anything new.
The only song I can appreciate a little is "The Blue Building", I like the first part of the song where he talks about his own life and struggles, that wasn't bad.
Anyway the album is short and doesn't give you anything, this was the first time I've listened to Benny The Butcher, hope this isn't his standard.
This album is incredible, I've never heard of MAVI before this and I regret it.
He can rap with difficult and deep lyrics, he's never boring, the production is majestic, I don't know what else to say, easily the best album I've heard this year.
This project is all around a masterpiece, I think that one day it'll be remembered as one of the greatest works of these years, amazing.
Ok, that's the most difficult review I've ever done, 'cause I don't know quite I feel about the record.
There are songs in which I feel Peggy is like a genius, and songs in which I think he's a schizophrenic.
That's the reason of the rating, I've loved a lot of songs here, but some are just unlistenable to me.
The last 4 songs are majestic, I was floating, I think this album is so good, but at the same time so experimental that I can't understand it all ... read more
This is a great album, the sound takes you in his own world, the rap is good all around (even the features do extremely good), I just don't get the strange mix that was chosen for the first song (ik it's an artistic choice).
HOODLUMZ is incredible, one of the best songs of the year in my opinion.
The album gets this rating based on the ratings of the songs, it will may become higher after a re-listen.
I decided to listen to this album because of the ratings it is getting, and I have to admit that I'm quite disappointed.
Yes, Logic can rap very well, everyone knows that, vut what more than this? Maybe I can't understand his art?
It hasn't been an easy listen 'cause the album is f*ckin boring, the songs are too long and I think that the style that he uses in most of them is not quite his best.
I gave to almost all of the songs a 60+ rating just 'cause of the rapping, ... read more
This is surely a good album all around, there are some problems with the mixing, but there aren't "bad" songs.
However it's like a good album, nothing more than that, and for a three years waiting it's not enough.
Polo has a lot of talent, and I don't think he showed it well enough in this record.
In conclusion, I would rank this album as third in his discography, better than HOF but worse than Die A Legend and The GOAT. (Polo is one of my favorite rappers ... read more
I think that this is the worst album among Ye's discography, however, there are some interesting songs, although it's also true that there are a bunch of horrible tracks.
I appreciated the first volume far more, but this isn't THAT bad, you criticize the album so much just 'cause it's from Kanye.
(My Soul could be one of the best songs of the album, I just need a better mix to fully understand it)
