the really bad lyrics make this terrible. funny to listen to tho
its cool but not very memorable and i had to push myself to listen to this because a few friends of mine listened to it. i like the style theyre aiming for and i see the appeal but its not fully my thing though i think this tape is a bit overhated for what it is. 2nd half is slighlty weaker than half 1 but i forgive it because its relatively short and consistent throughout.
this is the edward i wanna hear not no fuckin silly ass piano beats
edward gets too overstimulated from his music career and starts ageplaying over his 11th cocomelon beat
feels like listening to an amateur playing with samples in fl for the first time. most of this feels carried by the sample being for the most part unedited with just a drumloop over it and it sounds barebones and rough around the edges. the mixing is for the most part okay. you can hear the sample popping sound in radical which in itself is a bit silly because even that interlude feels a bit lazy and uninspired. some of these beats arent even too bad and i feel like some should be longer than 1 ... read more
idk how i listened to this shit in 2018. still better than yeezus though
ive come to a strong conclusion that i just dont like hexd. cool in concept but then the music sounds like its trying too hard to fuck my ear holes. & also has no reason to be that loud so easily the worst track on this whole album. only reason im hearing this is because i checked a friends account on bandcamp and found this in their wishlist and they taste is ASS.
is this ty dolla signs transgender arc confirmed? why the fuck would bro make this and why would there be more than 1 volume youre a dude making music for women ๐ญ
must be so exhausting trying to throw a 1 liner faster than 15 other attention hungry teenagers on a new album and trying to get all the likes. this deluxe is solid but doesnt really encapsulate the high highs of what i really liked of the main album. lucys feature here is okay, the transitions are still good, and theme wise it fits with the og.
TTHHEE PPAARRTTYY - Demo (62)
mascaraed version of the best track on the main album
Valentine - Demo (70)
sounds like a video game song more than a weirdly atmospheric bittersweet horror movie ending
D.A.N.C.E. - Demo (75)
Donna - Outtake (72)
B.E.A.T - Instrumental (71)
D.A.N.C.E. - Logic Reprise (70)
carried by the fact hes on a really good beat. could have gotten literally any other rapper on this though.
ai is gonna replace YOU first. they all sound basic and this cover sucks. also track 2 has cuts everywhere throughout that dont make sense, arent on beat or atleast feel on beat and it made me think this shit was badly sampled or ai generated and honestly if it was ai generated i wouldnt be surprised.
pretty shit extras that would have made sense at the END of the tracklist especially for the name and for new listeners because atleast the ogs title track and bust down were a good intro and got me hyped for the rest of the album while none of these but "i like this" really made an impact on me. in general hyperyouth and jvb was never big to me with anything but the production and these extras dont make me have a crazy realization where their music clicks, it just validates how i ... read more
