My besties first proper release!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not just glazing this cause my bro made it, it's genuinely some really great bedroom shoegaze. The atmosphere of the EP is stormy and a bit apocalyptic, with heavy drums, dreamy washed out guitar, and a dense atmosphere that makes you feel like it's hard to breathe. The production leans into being lofi and noisy, and I think he did such a good job :)))

Outside the hit don't dream it's over, the rest of the album was less dreamy and much more alt rock. A bit chaotic, really great vocals and fantastic bass work. Overall a great pop rock album, super enjoyable all around, not a bad song
This album was a very divisive listening experience for me. Firstly i definitely agree with the sentiment that it's basically the same sound as ITCOTCK. But much worse executed in a lot of ways. On one hand there was some very great songs on here. I loved Cadence and Cascade as well as the title track. But other tracks like Cat Food and The Devils Triangle especially... were seriously garbage. Devils Triangle was literally like 7 mins of this two note melody that slowly got louder. ... read more
Overhated band. This album has some of the most iconic guitar and bass riffs of the last 30 years

Much more dramatic and dark than Rainbow Goblins. I am not sure which I prefer. This one had a much more cohesive story that felt integral to the albums narrative (whereas rainbow goblins kinda felt like a neat gimmick) and the atmosphere was just so epic and incredible. On the other hand rainbow goblins easily had superior musicianship. They're both incredible albums. ILY TAKANAKA!!!
