I think there are lots of great and memorable things about this album but some elements just aren't great. The drums at some parts are amazing or really boring basic electronic drum sounds. They either take advantage and embrace the fact that the music is electronic with detailed instrumentals or make really boring songs that don't do anything remarkable. This album takes risks and those risks work VERY well. The overall sound is very abrasive which is amazing most of the time but on a couple songs becomes obnoxious. The two vocalists have two very unique styles which adds SO much to this album. 1 800 pain is able to mix danceable rhythms with loud industrial sounds which gives the entire album this fun yet aggressive sound. Although this is definitely not my favorite Machine Girl project it does interest me. It's a stylistic change which has many things I dislike and like. The hardest change for me is the way the vocals sound. A lot of the songs just don't hit the same with the way the newer vocals are mixed. Although, I still think a lot of the vocal effects are cool.
