(Un)fortunately I can't quite relate with the experiences people describe with this album, though, this doesn't discredit it whatsoever.
When I first listened to this I expected it to be some sad, loner/manipulative indie rock that sought only pity. Whilst to an extent that’s exactly what it is, it brings upon it a sense of melancholy and, strangely enough, familiarity. Songs like 'Till You Tell Me to Leave',

This album encapsulates what I would call "thinking music", the sounds that come from it are what I would imagine the brain to be making when thinking, whether it be whilst playing a game or taking an exam. Its brainy music.
Arguably on the same shelf as Hellfire, albeit potentially a little better. I came to slightly understand why some found it "exhausting" to listen to, Greep has a very aggressive and rough style and he really expresses it here. Particularly on tracks like "Holy, Holy", "Motorbike" and "Walk Up". This isn't to discount his style at all, but its very reasonable why some would find it tiring to sit through in one sitting.

packs material, a punch. Although it doesn't really seem to follow a story of sorts, which is a bit of a shame considering their sound and how much potential it had for something like the concept album.
