Overall just a great album with some great music. Some absolute bangers are on this album, from Bleed American, The Middle, and Sweetness. The Authority Sing is also pretty good for a cover, and songs like Hear You Me, Get It Faster, and My Sundown were some sleeper hits. Overall pretty damn good.
Also the Bleed American single releasing on 9/11 is crazy work.

Arguably the most important punk album of all time. The Sex Pistols have solidified themselves as one of the most important bands ever since they were one of the bands that helped drive the punk scene to where it is now. The album itself is pretty great, with a lot of high-energy tracks that you would expect from a punk band. A lot of the songs do sound same-y though, but that doesn’t really take much from the experience.

Why has it taken so long for me to listen to this band? At the Drive-In was always one of those bands that I heard of, but never really took the time to listen to. The combination of singing and yelling (not really screaming) was never something I thought would make a good album, but here we are.

Ok, story time. A couple of years ago my Dad got a sweatshirt with this album cover on it. Eventually he ended up giving it to me even though I had no idea who Failure was. I’ve had this sweatshirt for a couple of years and I just decided to start listening to them today. And holy smokes, they blew me away. They have a very unique sound compared to other bands. They combine the grunge sound and that space-y sound really well. I wasn’t expecting something so good, but I was ... read more
There is a reason why this was their first album to hit mainstream. My Chemical Romance has a very unique sound compared to other emo/punk bands, and the mix of backup vocals make it sound really nice. And the parts that they just start talking without singing adds to their unique sound. Great album.
