Bruh this was a perpetual punchline of a song. I think a lot of people slander Grime and other prevalent genres of UK Hip-Hop when they don't understand half of it and end up dismissing it as the same bars being rehashed with synonyms. A lyrically dense celebration of Black excellence that, combined with the video, is without a doubt Stormzy's chef-d'œuvre.

Damn Quadeca really produced, mixed, wrote, and sung what is probably the best glitch-pop single of the year and people still shit on him for being "emo" or just because his popularity originated from YouTube. Emo isn't even an insult, people seem to forget that it's just an abbreviation of "emotional". Fuck the haters this is great lulz.
