It might be surprising to say, but I used to listen to grime music from time to time when I was around 10 or 11 years old when it used to be on the music channels on TV, albeit I don't remember too many of the tracks I heard nowadays. The track "96 Fuckries" however, is one I do remember rather well despite the music channels rarely played it.

JME’s 2015 album, Integrity>, has been one of the most impactful albums that I’ve ever listened to so far.
Strangely, I started listening to Grime when I was 8-9 (I’m nearing 14 for reference). The often crude lyrics meant nothing to me at the time, it all went over my head anyways. But the hard-hitting production and the often energetic performances by the artists’s is what made me fall in love with the genre.
