This album was boring. it was. from its long stretched out guitar solos really juxtaposing the warm vocals ,to its very stretched out songs in general. The songs lack musical ideas and complexity giving the album an 'aburido' feel
(meaning boring in Spanish).

Very Urban album. Its very mellow but also at times quite harsh/rigid giving the feeling of "pure jazz". I lIke the first track the most; It emphasises my point the most. However most of the songs did only stick to one vibe .But the mood and groove was there for all tracks.

This album can be seen as experimental. it can be seen as groundbreaking, revolutionary even. However it doest really appease to me. No matter how important or abstract it is I still feel the unsatisfied with it ; it's like something about the album doesn't really fit with me. This is the first time I've really listened and read the lyrics in a critical manor, I don't like being spoon-fed meanings so I tried(keyword tried) analysing them. some of them.(not very well). and I found this album a very engaging album and thats musically and lyrically, even if Im hailing the lyrics now as a cryptic masterpiece(which isn't always a good thing).
