Lacking the grit that former Brockhampton member Ameer Vaan provided to the group, Roadrunner is still a solid album, but sounds like a washed out version of the group's classic style on many occasions.

Kanye West's energized vocals and inventive soundscapes displayed on this album make it my personal favorite in his discography.

Earl Sweatshirt really created a masterpiece with this one. The lo-fi beats that feel chill and menacing at the same time mixed with well placed features and some of the best rhyme schemes and quotables I’ve ever heard make this a rap project for the ages.

I really wanted to like this album, but I just can't bring myself to enjoy a large portion of the tracklist. I don't think I've ever listened to an album that feels this diverse quality wise, ranging from glitch pop masterpieces like hot problems and la la la, to songs like vitamin d freestyle and IDGAFOAS that have almost no redeeming qualities at all. I am completely lost on how to rate this album. On one hand, I can name plenty of things I personally dislike about the album; I don't LIKE the addition of minute-and-a-half long instrumentals and interludes scattered throughout the tracklist.
