Earl Sweatshirt really created a masterpiece with this one. The lo-fi beats that feel chill and menacing at the same time mixed with well placed features and some of the best rhyme schemes and quotables I’ve ever heard make this a rap project for the ages.

I really wanted to like this album, but I just can't bring myself to enjoy a large portion of the tracklist. I don't think I've ever listened to an album that feels this diverse quality wise, ranging from glitch pop masterpieces like hot problems and la la la, to songs like vitamin d freestyle and IDGAFOAS that have almost no redeeming qualities at all. I am completely lost on how to rate this album. On one hand, I can name plenty of things I personally dislike about the album; I don't LIKE the addition of minute-and-a-half long instrumentals and interludes scattered throughout the tracklist. I don't LIKE the fact that the album is a long tracklist mostly comprised of much shorter songs rather than a smaller amount of more substantial ones.
