Such a great album. It being a double album actually works really well. The first half focuses on outside problems like addiction, with a more aggressive and upbeat sound. The second half turns more inward, about healing and what he has been through. It even touches on faith and that struggle, and the calmer sound fits it a lot better. I did not expect to get bored by a JPEGMAFIA project.
This was a pretty disappointing listen overall. I thought this was over hated just because of the beefs and other dumb stuff JPEGMAFIA has done on social media. But this was just really boring.
The experimental dubstep type sounds just come off corny most of the time and just isn't it. I usually like when artists push into experimental territory, but here it does not feel like it works at all.

A solid trap album overall.
The production is easily the strongest part, with a lot of catchy beats that fit the style really well. 2 Chainz delivers a consistent performance throughout and keeps that energy. There are definitely some standout tracks including the intro but the album also has a decent amount of songs that feel a bit forgettable or do not do much beyond being okay. Nothing really bad here, just not very surprising or experimental either. A good, solid listen overall.
