The Scholars feels extremely lyric/story heavy. There is a continuity of story throughout each song requires a lot of attention and context, sung from different perspectives and at different points in time, thus making it hard to actually understand it at first. Each song has plenty of references and all characters are sung by Will or, at times, Ethan Ives. 6 whole versions of inarguably one of the worst songs to come out in recent memory. Katy Perry continues to negatively affect womankind and feminism as a whole by artificially producing music that completely lacks any sense of empowerment. I might not be a woman, but I do know that collaborating with a r4pist to make an anthem for feminism is absolutely wild, especially when it turns out to be this offensive to the ear. Katy Perry has never cared about women in the slightest.
