this song just feels like how it is to be in love. it's a truly beautiful art pop masterpiece that cemented coldplay as an all-time great for me. although their music may not be as good as it was, the fact that they made this proves that coldplay were magical; and will be remembered as one of the best bands of the 2000s. i come back to this song a lot whenever i feel down and it really does help. easily my favorite song of all time. if you ever want a recommendation for a song from me just ... read more
people hate this album?? throughout my deep dive into owl city’s discography i’ve been constantly surprised at how low the ratings are for their albums. are they cringy? yeah. are they a bit cheesy and oversaturated? yeah, but they’re fun!! mobile orchestra is a bouncy, memorable and enjoyable EDM album that i think deserves a lot more love, and it’s far better than what the user score would have you believe. i’d recommend this to people who are a fan of porter ... read more
„no dogs allowed” is a cute, nostalgic bedroom pop album that has really high highs but is overall quite inconsistent. i love the vocals and production but some of the songs feel half-baked in the writing, impostor syndrome is a really beautiful song that definitely makes this album 100% worth checking out. overall this album is really good, but it would’ve greatly benefited from having a shorter tracklist.

michael’s best album. fight me. this is a perfect album, and one of the best debut albums ever made. off the wall is the most fun i’ve ever had listening to an album. it’s impossible to listen to this without dancing a little, and michael’s joyful personality makes all of these tracks so enjoyable and catchy. a flawless start to one of the best discographies in music.

listening to this album is like spinning a wheel on whether the next song is gonna be a hit or miss. most of the time it’s a miss
favorite track: be someone

my 600th rating! this album is decent but gets dull quite fast. most of the songs here sound very similar and are hard to distinguish from one another, but the highlights are very strong. ryan tedder's vocals on this are smooth and melodic, which really complements the laid back tracks but doesn't work very well on the more anthemic ones. overall "waking up" is a solid pop rock album that unfortunately isn't very memorable other than its singles.
