Decent, but only really liked a couple of songs enough to come back to them. The rest was pretty forgettable, despite the creativity and talent that they show
Entertaining to listen to but unremarkable and doesn't seem to diverge from their past work too much. One or two songs stuck with me, but not strong enough to come back to this
Amazing album - every song is unique, has something to offer, and helps Tommy establish her goals and ideas for the album. Though some songs can be simplistic and straightforward, each is extremely memorable and uses unique components that separate her tracks from any contemporaries
Despite the great saxophonist that Ornette Coleman is, every instrument gets a chance to shine through on this album. Every song has something to offer, though some songs can get long with solos that are unnecessarily long.
It seems like they let the complexity of the project get in the way of the musicality. Really hard to stay interested in the album throughout, and the only reason it was memorable at all is from nostalgia in Pinball Wizard. Despite that, the difficulty of the parts played was impressive, but still not enough to separate the album.
Amazing vocals and keeps the listener engaged throughout. Really interesting topics for the time that it was written and really great to see such a merge of cultures and genres. Seems like there is plenty of Broadway influence that is really cool to hear.
Decent and captivating album - really encapsulating of her personality and intresting combinations of genres, but lacked the memorability to be scored higher
So entertaining throughout, few dull moments, and captivating.
