Put some respect on the first trash album ever, kinda this isnt really thrash but its really damn heavy and extermely dark. It feels like it has elements of the swans that is about to come while also having something so dark that it feels like michael gira wants to murder your whole family. Really dark shit but i really like it, even though it fails at creating a rather subtle and looming void that lingers and the backround, it succedes at making you feel like you are being hit in the head with ... read more

How the hell can an album have multiple top 50 swans songs (sunfucker, the hansnsnfnsnsnsnging mmaamamamaamamamnnnmaaannn the hanging man the hanging man the hanging man the hanging man, what is.
Can also have some of the most horrid songs that i have ever heared, long sluggish and also just pointless: Hums and most of disc two outside what i have mentioned in the good songs.
For my whole life i never knew that this was a double album.
Fav: the begger lover three
Least fav: los angeles city of death
Yoooo the circle is back.
In a way i would have wished more from this album since this is such an iconic cover for swans since its the face of their best album sftb, yet i fear that this album never reached that height. Its one of the only swans albums where i feel that some of the soungs drag and have filler moments. Yet it still has some high moment in particular the last track which is insane top 20 swans
Crazy how this shit never got boring for one second. I feel like the glowing man has the best elements from every part of the trillogy the slow build up and mesmerizing beauty that the seer had in its sound, while also not wasting a single second building up in its climactic breakdowns tjat mirtor the raw and unfiltred emotions of to be kind. And for that reason it remains as the best album from the swans 2010's trillogy.

I will gut anyone who calls swans "the swans" i will gut anyone who says the seer "drags out". Swans alongside gybe are the peak of music every time i listen to them i feel like i just go wandering into a diferent wolrd from all tje other sounds in music, and the seer does that perfectly, not just through the eerie vauge lyrics that add a level of intriuge, but also through these moments of light at the end of the tunnel that feel like not just a perfect contrast to the ... read more
Hyperactive version of the seer.
This album is mean and uncompromising, but i see that term used a lot in the swans discography, yet i feel it couldnt describe any of their work as well as it describes tbk. It, like i said in my tastless joke at the begining mirrors the seer in some ways like the long tracks and the raw display of emotions that it shows. But where it takes over the seer into being uncompromising is the way it never fits into the mold of music every song has a sharp sound that ... read more

This album is a monster, spitefull and as uncompromising as any swans record. Mayne its not as dark as the seer or as adrenalind filled as tbk and not even as drasticly opressive as the glowimg man. The album tjat was supposed to mark the swans as dea turned out to be the very thing thst kept them alive and this albums roots can still be seen all through their discography. If you numb yourself for two hours and a bit you wil be taken on a life altering journey throught some of the darkesf ... read more
