Like her debut, Britney Spears' second record is composed of a couple great pop songs, and just like ...Baby One More Time, the rest of Oops!... I Did It Again's tracks are of such bad quality that they could cease to exist and the world would probably be a better place. If anything, the cute, perhaps charming, spoken "interludes" between some songs make the listening experience a bit more bearable.

Brilliant production aside, The College Dropout shows quite a wide range of lyrical subject matter. At times, Kanye contradicts himself on this record. Everything about Bjork is peculiar. With her unmistakable, childlike vocal delivery and rule-breaking sonic style, she makes even the silliest lyrics hypnotic. She is somehow alternative, while still being well known, yet not mainstream at all. On Debut, aptly titled, she combines everything that makes her positively weird with 90s dance music, and somehow manages to move back and forth between singing about tantalizing love and existentialism.
