Fine Line is Harry Styles' second Studio Album, and holy cow this album was a blast to listen to. The One Direction member proves that he can also thrive as a solo artist, and this is genuinely one of the best listens I've had to an album. The catchy tunes and good vibes give an incredible listening experience, and none of the songs were a skip for me, with the exception of Treat People with Kindness, which became tolerable on a re-listen. Golden, Falling, and Fine Line(Title Track) are easily ... read more
Genuinely the best Imagine Dragons song. The messy drums and guitar end up actually paying off, and leave for a fun time. The message is also incredible, and is a thank you message to that one person who stayed by you throughout all the ups and downs, and helped support you even in your worst moments. It's sweet and emotional. I absolutely adore this song, and hope Imagine Dragons one day goes back to this style, because boy did it work.
This is Austin "Post" Malone's 5th studio album, and I'm going to be real, this album is awesome. On the surface, it's a solid summertime album to jam out to, but deep down, it tackles some pretty heavy issues. In just the opener alone, Post goes into how he doesn't love himself, but keeps doing what he does because everyone else loves him. He doubts his abilities despite what everyone else says. The guitar and vocals come out so raw and natural, and really hit home in many ways. This ... read more
Honestly, I find Imagine Dragons to be a very hit or miss band. They can make incredible songs, like It Comes Back To You and I Bet My Life, but then songs like Gold and Thunder are absolutely abysmal(I know that Thunder isn't on this album, but I'm still gonna use it as an example). There is almost no in between. That being said, this album is really good. Shots, while forgettable, serves a really good opening track. My first impressions of Gold were awful, but it's a lot better on the ... read more
I've always been a big fan of AJR, and for the longest time I couldn't see why people hated them so much. Now I've grown older and realized why, but despite the hate, I still love most of the things these guys put out. I personally think that this is one of their best albums(tied with TMM). It tackles many different topics, and I think the things they've sampled/used in their tracks. Karma is easily a top 5 AJR song of mine, and I think the album art is the best one they made so far.

Big fan of this song. I have been jamming out to it since it released, and I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since the pandemic started. Enjoyable beats, inoffensive lyrics, and a good message. Definitely one of my favorite songs of theirs
This song goes hard. Not in the sense that the beat is good, but in the sense that this song makes me want to bang myself in the head with a shovel until I'm knocked unconscious
Screw it, let's rate all the AJR albums
I'm not going to pretend that I'm not an AJR fan. I have enjoyed their music for a really long time, and can't bring myself to hate on them or their tracks. With that being said, this might make the review a bit bias, but I also wouldn't be reviewing this if I didn't want them to improve(which I believe they ended up doing with The Maybe Man). I also want to thank my friend who introduced me to Way Less Sad when it dropped, as that would be the first ... read more
I personally think NF is overhated. I enjoy a lot of his songs, and have tried to learn all, if not most, of his songs. That being said, this album is a mixed bag. I am not gonna ride the "HOPE is a bad album" train, as I think there are some genuinely good tracks on this one. HOPE(the opener), CAREFUL, MAMA, HAPPY, GONE, BULLET, and RUNNING are all good in their own right. I think the instrumentals on all of the songs are also really good, and some of the best out of any artist ... read more
This album made me make an albumoftheyear account just to review it, so take of that what you will
First off, the pros:
- I think the instrumentals were very good at times. I like how they went about songs like the Dumb Song, as well as Maybe Man, Turning Out Pt. iii, and Inertia, where the background tracks could be very catchy when they don't overdo the amount of instruments and go more simplistic
- The lyrics got a good point across at times. I think Touchy Feely Fool is a good example of ... read more
