Great voice paired with detailed production makes this immediately enjoyable. The first half is well paced, and songs are distinct but cohesive in their sound – the middle looses me a little bit, but then somewhat picks me back up again on the last few tracks.
The singles are nice and well paced / paired with more atmospheric tracks. Drags a little bit here and there, but nice and atmospheric overall with some catchy moments sprinkled in.
Sure I can hear that this is a solid, well put together album. But I don't think I'll be coming back to it
Looovely instrumentation and production, but the vocals (and/or vocal treatment) take me completely out of it
Simple and engaging lyrics, entertaining to listen to though a bit same-y. +1 for northern Englishness
