This has been on repeat for the last few weeks, an enthralling experience and a welcome dose of dopamine on any given day. Catchy grooves and hooks transitioned with wonderfully cohesive bridges and tunes. Absolutely enchanting while at times chaotic; a musical journey filled with passionate waves of emotion. I think this is an incredibly successful completion of a transition from club/festival bangers to equally hard-hitting tracks with meaningful layers to peel back and explore.

If the Summer sun is shining; I can't think of many instances when I wouldn't be in the mood to listen to this. Immaculate cheery vibes serve as great background music, fantastic for mindless dancing, blissful sunset cruises, or listening sessions on an audiophile setup.

This really reminds me of bands like hmltd, after listening to this I'm very surprised these guys aren't more well known.

Mini Review:
The grooves on this project are immaculate, it's like a modern day trippier CCR's instrumentation shredding the complexly woven melodies and singing with the vocal delivery of a chill contemporary indie artist like Black Pool. Love the vibes here. The four-track opening run is particularly phenomenal.

Short Review
It's no Grey Area but this is still a solid little collection of songs from Little Simz. Nothing groundbreaking or incredibly thematically dense to mention here but as always her flow and technical ability are impressive and satisfying. "You ain't seen no one like me since Lauryn Hill back in the '90s" is a damn bar and it may indeed be true.
