A really solid project with some great laid back lyricism from Vince, and feels like an extremely personal record where he isn’t afraid to show his scars
Favourite tracks- black and blue, government cheese and etouffee
Awesome rock leaning single matched with clever lyricism and incredible production
Another fantastic single from Vince staples and this is the most rap rock leaning out of any of the singles and it sounds great! Also another single filled with political rhymes/ clever messaging. This is shaping up to be Vince’s best project yet
Whilst the track list loses a bit of momentum in the later third this is a really great mix tape from Freddie filled with great lyricism, flows and production on a lot of tracks here
Favourite tracks- BFK, kush cloud, bout it bout
Whilst I think the production on this album is fantastic and what you would usually expect from a Peggy project, the rest of this album is filled with repetitive flows some corny bars and on certain tracks really poor mixing where Peggy’s voice is completely drowned out by the production (whether an artistic choice or not for me its Not working here)
Favourite tracks- burning hammer, ghosts of emit till,¥(yen), gybb and war over land.
