ILLENIUM - ASCEND
50

nostalgic but aged poorly

Tennyson - Rot
50

after years of EP's I kinda expected something like this. way to bloated and spread too thin

The Weeknd - Dawn FM
66

a love letter to 80s synth pop. Starts strong with its immersive radio station interludes and pop hits. Loses momentum towards the end

JAY-Z - The Blueprint
40

dog water. ye did his own beats better

J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hills Drive
55

some bangers but lots of filler tbh

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
57

overrated as hell. I think If people didn't suck this albums dick as much as I've seen calling it "mastered perfectly to play on any device" or "a love letter to music" I would like it more. the long tracks are long. by all means it's a technical showcase, and great at getting you to move. but the message doesn't resonate with me really at all. it's so perfect its robotic. but what can I say. thats what they are after all...

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
70

great commentary, great grooves, back half is lacking imo

Radiohead - Kid A
50

I've tried so hard

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
70

starts strong and ends strong.. the middle I'm still getting used to...

The Beatles - The Beatles
60

Nearly painful to sit through entirely with the lot of b sides that didn't deserve to be on here. but I'm glad they are tho. There are also some really big highs. I love this as a project, just not an album

Frank Ocean - Blonde
99

one of the best, not just music but creative mediums of expression of all time in my opinion

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
80

this shi grew on me one of my favorite kendrick projects

Daft Punk - Discovery
80

never gets old

Madeon - Good Faith
75

madeons good faith era with his colorful visuals make this album such an iconic one of a kind listen

Kanye West - The College Dropout
75

what jayz couldn't do on the blueprint. who knew that Kanye would be the better rapper on his own beats

"@skylarcyrus just genuinely wondering why it being a letter to God is important? the musicality of it is what I was complaining about, and that's my whole issue with the album. the idea is great sure, but that doesn't speak for how it was executed."

"This is easily the worst review for any album I have read in my life. The absolute ignorance and lack of research goes to show how stupid a lot of people are on this fucking platform."
On Depeche Mode - Violator
"and I don't care that dude was classically trained, my ears are classically trained to hear some bullshit and I'll call it out if I hear it. and i think I'll thank daft punk for influencing my precious synthpop bands and popularizing good electronic music because they actually knew what the hell they were doing."
On Depeche Mode - Violator
"ha! I gotchu mad as hell! nah this wasn't ragebait. I stand by everything. Except the comment "I wish it was more like brain damage and eclipse" meant I wished they handed the end of the album like pink floyd handled the end of the dark side of the moon. I don't care they used a pink floyd sample from a b side I've never heard of. And I wasn't saying David Bowie isnt memorable, I was saying all the other one hit wonders that no one remembers AND David Bowie. Cuz Bowie's blueprints are all over this album, and frankly I think he did it better, and he can actually sing! As far as you coming at me on being a music theory elitist, I was simply describing why I didn't like a certain progression and had to articulate that in a precise manner."
