This for me is the quintessential example of an album I originally didn't get and disliked because of that, but that eventually grew on me and became one of my favorite records of all time. Jazz is a difficult genre to review because it's mostly acoustic, usually lacks lyrics, and requires academic training to fully understand and appreciate.
