Trying to look past my bias for how much I love their first album, I still think glass beach managed to pull off something amazing in plastic death. This has a great sound, and a vocal performance which speaks to me. While I disagree with Brad Taste's scoring, I will admit he is right about the slower parts of this album dragging on a bit much. Reviewing to me is less about identifying some "objective" criteria on what makes some music "better" than other music, and more about conveying and evaluating how an album makes you feel. For some reason this album means a lot for me, it has challenged me, made me improve myself, and I get something out of this album that I don't get out of any other album. I don't care if you think I'm overrating this, this is what it means to me.
