Honestly, there's not much else to say about their debut album. It's as good as their debut EP and it's true that they experimented a little bit more here in songs like bloodsucker, look at me and on the verge with the electronic elements but it's still solid Nu Metalcore.
What I absolutely love about this band is that they don't really change their sound, they are good at what they do, short, aggressive Nu Metalcore and that's great.
Oh man oh man, what a goddamn mess. I think there is genuienly a charm to this album, how can it be so bad that it becomes fun? The fun of this album isn't really a good thing though. The only good song here is SIRENS which is kinda crazy how such a good song can be thrown in such a bad album. The artwork is cool though.
Just like I believe TTS is overrated I think this album is underrated. It was a VERY drastic change of sound for BMTH, dare I say even more drastic than the change from Suicide Season to TTH, but it works wonders. A really nice production, and a really unique sound that somehow feels pretty nostalgic at times. (This album came out 7 years ago damn.) I think it's great, personally. Not a masterpiece, but not dogshit like I see a lot of people say.
This is definitely an unpopular opinion but I'm not the biggest fan of this album. I don't think it's horrible and Drown and Doomed are really good but other than that I don't like it, I find it lacking at points and not the biggest fan of the production either.
It only makes sense I give this album a 10/10, can't go any lower with how beautiful, techincal and heavy this album is. Even Reverie is amazing every song here is important.
This is honestly really cool, might not be the best revivalcore out there but it's still really solid plus they are getting attention and pushing a fairly heavy and nostalgic sound into a bigger audience and I think that's great.
This is my first Cane Hill album and I didn't know what to expect and I heard great things about it but I found it lacking, I don't know, like something is missing. It's not a bad album at all, and the vocalist has an amazing voice but there is something missing. The Midnight Sun is a 10/10 song though, wow that song FUCKS SO HARD.
How can something sound so nostalgic yet so fresh at the same time? No idea, but my goats manage to do it consistently. The hype for the new album is real.
This is by far my favorite BMTH album, it's just so damn good. Has that rawness from their sophomore but they also show a lot of maturity here, it's a masterpiece no doubt. "Fuck" gets me so hyped.
Yep, not a lot to say about this one other than it being a genuienly good song. Kudos to PRESIDENT, hopefully an album soon.
Continuing with BMTH's discography, this album is most definitely my second favorite of theirs. It's just shows how raw Metalcore on the late 2000's and early 2010's was. Also the artwork is really cool so that's a bonus.
Maybe a tad bit overrated but it's still a banger of an album. Shadow Moses and Empire still go HARD
This album fucks so hard that I had to make an AOTY account to say how hard this album fucks.
