This is a banger. The first 3 tracks are alright and fun, but the instrumentals are generally simplistic. Luckily, the instruments do lock in afterwards, and the vocals are consistently nice. Waiting In The Car is an absolute gem, my favourite song on this. Froggy Life of Leisure is a bop, especially with the duet thing and the playful beeps and boops instrumental. Personally, I wouldn't. The usual Lex Walton stuff, aka incredible, harsh, angsty rock. Favourite song was ALEX WALTON BY ALEX WALTON, but that's kinda obvious because it would easily be my favourite song on most albums, and a difference from I WANT YOU TO KILL ME seems nonexistent. And Car Seat Headrest is mentioned, so bonus points. Least favourite was I AM INSANE.

Fun as hell banger after banger. Liked the beats and deliveries particularly.

I've listened to most of these songs in isolation, but this is the first time in a single sitting. This is really good. Like epitomical of a good cover in that, whilst maintaining the heart of the original, each song is transformed into its own thing by putting a unique spin on it. The execution of which is amazing. Especially on Sad Pony Guerrilla Girl, which was my favourite, and My Heart Covered in Lilac, which is doubled in length and a complete change of genre. The only song I ... read more
