a groovy party album that released at the worst time possible. I really love madlo, it feels like the band letting go of any angst for a smooth electronic sound that compliments Will Toledo's vocals really well. I have a soft spot in my heart for just how pleasant to listen to each track is and I feel like any future releases should continue to embrace this electronic sound along side the guitar driven music that CSH is known for.
one of the most consistent albums ive ever listened to. Not one track on this album is a dud and each song flows into the other so well that you can easily listen to this whole record without skipping or feeling like your time is being wasted.
This album is extremely important to me. Its sound is beautiful and full of such soul and passion which for an album with this many different featured artists is not only really impressive but really builds plastic beach as a hub for creativity amongst the destruction of the planet. Plastic Beach is as diverse in sound and emotion as it is in collaborators and there isnt a dull moment throughout.
The versatility of Danny shines brightly on this album. Each song feels high impact and extremely unique as Danny takes us through a world of addiction, hardship and manic energy that is unmatched by any other artist in this genre.
listening to Limp Bizkit is like smoking weed.
It’s shit and I should hold myself to a better standard but it’s so funny hearing fred durst (known for The Fanatic 2019) yelling that he’s gonna give me a fat lip.
also the riffs go hard as fuck.
An emotional, introspective and matured Danny Brown provides a much different experience then his past material which left me with a much higher appreciation for his work and talent.
No red bank notes or granny in the backseat. Worst example of Jay's music.
Jack Stauber delivers a vibe, sound and preformance that only he can and this shows that in full effect.
nvm dont listen to the last review. This is fucking awesome, i love it so much!!!!
Original review:The charm of this band wares off halfway through the record. They pick it back up for the last song though.
