Naked City beat the shit out of the listener for 30 minutes, beginning with a little buildup beatdown, before about 15 minutes of pure auditory punishment.

Such a dropoff following the breathtaking "2093" that it's honestly kind of impressive, "Lyfestyle" has plenty of tracks, and a lot of noise, but never seems to do anything interesting with it or develop any of the already anaemic ideas Yeat is trying to share with us. A huge runtime and tracklist ultimately mean nothing if attempting to discern one song from another is an impossible task.

Don't get me wrong, the news of Black Midi's hiatus broke my heart, as I'm sure it did to many other people.
