I honnestly enjoying this album, but it lacks novelty and narratives. It is almost easier to describe what this album sounds like by referencing other artists such as Porter Robinson, Glass Beach, and a little bit of Owl City rather than glorifying its uniqueness.
The voice, vocal melodies, and lyrics still feel unmistakably Cavetown, but the production throughout the album often feels too forced and overconstructed.
