I truly don't understand the purpose of remix albums. When I think of a remix, I think of a song that is creatively built on its own strengths. Instead you get songs that sound like they are just low passes with some unrelated drum beats and maybe a little bit of sampling.
This is a very special album to me, so I feel a little upset that they had the opportunity for ethereal sampling and just missed out so hard.

This is going to be a fairly mean review. I am not trying to be mean, I am simply just disappointed. I was hoping for something different. Keep in mind that I am not the biggest fan of mainstream pop.
I am going to compare this with the other albums. I am a HUGE fan of hers. Fishmonger is one of my favorite albums ever, and I enjoy Wallsocket.

Pretty lazy performance from both of them to be honest. The lyrics are stupid and begging to be edgy and cool and both of the performances are so dry and unenthusiastic. Obviously I am aware that Stomach Book uses a decent amount of vocal tuning, but in this song it is drenched in vocal tuning in a way that just isn't fun. Kind of disappointing single but I didn't expect anything different.
