I imagine this one as a break between the heavy songs, sort of an interlude if you will. I do like the 'laid back' production even though it's quite a departure from the previous single.
I don't care what negative thing anyone thinks or says about this song. It's amazing. Pressing play and getting blasted with that beat was amazing.
Heavy and hard-hitting songs, gritty, mad, angry. Anyone would feel that way if their reputation gets ruined. But Taylor puts all that energy and emotion into this album; an attempt to reinvent her reputation.
Just like the title, I spent a couple of midnights listening to this while studying. And every time I listen to this, I just get transported back to those times, stressing about everything and on every detail of my plates.
Suffers from the same problem as Short n' Sweet. A few standout tracks but repetitive. This album could've been a deluxe of the deluxe with how it sounds.
Has a few standout tracks but it wasn't enough to keep me entertained. It's not that it's boring, it's just repetitive.

No doubt that the 'second half' of the album sounds better. Feeling and sounding similar to Taylor's past works of "folklore" and "evermore", which I am very fond of. More music is appreciated, but not at the expense of quality.
A few standout tracks. But other than those songs, the album length, certain lyrical choices; it makes the album ultimately feel flat.
I really think going the 'solo songs on the album' route was the wrong thing to do. It made the album incohesive, literally solo songs compiled in an album. It is an enjoyable listen though. Soft and hard songs that highlight each members preference for music they want to make.
Gave it a listen since it's a "Must Hear Album". It's okay, it's not groundbreaking as everyone makes it sound to be, but it's a good album. Especially the first few tracks.
The 3 additional tracks make the album. MAYHEM feels so complete now, and I am LOVING it!
