Ca$ino is pretty good at what it's trying to do, being a mostly enjoyable & fun listen throughout. There’s no true standouts like “Family Ties,” but if you were hungry for more keem after the hiatus, it’s enough to satisfy the craving, even if it doesn’t leave you completely full.
I try, but I will never understand the appeal of Joey Valence & Brae. Pure sanitized hip hop at its most annoying. Honestly, to even call this "hip hop" is an affront to the genre and the culture.

Metro is a talented producer, but his production can get repetitive. He’s avoided this harming his projects in the past by bringing on a bunch of different artists on his albums. But releasing over 40 songs with the same guy in two weeks? I’m sorry but it gets a little boring. After a few listens, I’m not sure how to feel about this album. I don’t think it’s that bad, but it leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. Not just due to the lyrical content (antisemitism is bad!) but because every track reminds me of what Kanye once was. Everything leaves you wanting more, and not in a good way. The few truly excellent songs on here (burn, stars) all make me think “hey, this guy used to just make a whole album like this like it was nothing.” ... read more
