Honestly had no idea what I was walking into when I started this album, but oh my god, maybe one of the best first listening experiences I've ever had.
Trench is historic, super hard to top, but this is about as close as you can come. This album is so close to perfection and has a case for album of the year 2024. The ending to paladin strait has me excited for more. The bass riffs on this album are dirty and has me ready to be in the pit. The production makes me feel like I'm floating with every listen. This was such an exciting experience and I cannot wait to see where the band goes next.
HEY! let's make an album for Taylor Swift fans to listen to so they can say they like metal! Also throw in some really weird production and vocal effects so we can call it experimental when in reality it is outdated about 10-15 years.
For how highly this album was reviewed and spoken about I was excepting it to clear "Happier Than Ever" but it did not even come close in my opinion, it is a good album, but not to the standards people are speaking about.
Near perfect album. A metal fans wet dream the breakdowns on this thing are so nasty and very consistent
