Even though The Paradigm Shift might not be the album that listeners might expect after a reunion with Head, it shows the kind of creativity and inventiveness that, love them or hate them, helped to make them an influential force in heavy music.

who doesn't like some love & meth?

Wow. This is easily Korn's most underrated album, I think it's amazing.

After the abominations of Korn III and TPOT, the band was transforming into something scarily bad, unfortunately.

So following those abominations, I wasn't expecting anything good from this, but to my surprise, it turned out to be... fantastic? With Head as a guitarist back, the vibe on here is really similar to Issues and I love that. The riffs SLAP, they are ... read more

Head rejoined the band on guitar, and the band immediately went in to recreate the Queen Of The Damned soundtrack with some dubstep parts thrown in. It's a massive step up from pretty much everything since Head left, and it's also the most full sounding one in quite a while.

Meh no where near Korn's best work I find this album at times boring at times interesting ideas that are not well executed

This CD opens the doors for a triumphant return. With Brian's return, which had less influence (much had already happened, some concepts were already in place). Catchy choruses and a return of the groove leave a good feeling.
