This used to be my favorite album of theirs as a teen... My 12 yo self really can't stop taking Ls huh
So am I the only one who think this one kinda sucks? The goth aesthetic is turned up to eleven on here, which is fine, but the riffs are much more tamer, everything sounds much more clean and the vocals aren't it for me, something about the way Chris sounds here just rubs me the wrong way. Sophomore Slump. The mix is atrocious, carbon copies of its inspirations, and juvenile lyrics. It's not all bad but a massive miss.
Some of this doesn't hold up, especially towards the end of the album. But there are still a lot of great tracks here.
