I tried numerous times to go through this record, trying to convince myself that I had to take it as It was; a deliberately catchy, commercial record that was even more so than Invisibile Touch, another maligned entry in Genesis' repertoire that left a bad taste on everyone's mouth at the time. I'm far from being an hater of Genesis Pop/Phil Collins era, but this entry feels virtually useless.

Like Elden Ring before it, I'll never emotionally recover from this game. Gotta play Replicant and Drakengard at this point.
It's good, but it's clear they lost what made distinct despite never being the most original band on the block
