Damiano David - FUNNY little FEARS
30

This shit is fucking ass

d4vd - WITHERED
0

"Separate the art from the artist" is a statement I usually agree on; not this time, because the tracks on this album couldn't be more implicit. Rot in prison, scumbag, I hope they throw damn key away.

岡部啓一 [Keiichi Okabe] - NieR:Automata (Original Soundtrack)
90

Like Elden Ring before it, I'll never emotionally recover from this game. Gotta play Replicant and Drakengard at this point.

Wage War - SONG OF THE SWAMP
70

It's good, but it's clear they lost what made distinct despite never being the most original band on the block

Lamb of God - Blunt Force Blues
70

The band that couldn't stop cooking.

Sleep Token - Even in Arcadia
30

I gave Take Me Back To Eden a 6.5/10 because despite its massive flaws, the first half of the album was incredibly strong; WHAT happened here?!?

Skillet - O Come, O Come Emmanuel
75

I am honestly shocked that this is as good as it Is; it's EASILY their best song in 15 years, It made me emotional and not because of the lyrics (I am not a Christian whatsoever), but because it felt like a modern spin on Comatose. The breakdown was well welcomed. Perhaps there's hope for these guys if the next album keeps this sound, but it may just be wishful thinking. Let's see.

Hazbin Hotel - Gravity
70

Absolutely a step up. Nothing special, but a nice little energetic single that perfectly embodies Lute's feelings.

As I Lay Dying - Echoes
70

It's fine but "fine" shouldn't be the new standard for this band. Tim Lambesis should just let this band's legacy rest, already damaged as it is.

Erika Henningsen - Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us)
60

I don't HATE It, it's catchy at parts but yeah it sounds extremely odd and is cringy. Maybe it'll sound better in context with the show though?

At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
85

As if 2025 couldn't get any worse. RIP Tomas, your influence on 2000s Metalcore and Melodic Death Metal cannot be talked enough.

Three Days Grace - One-X
80

So do we want to talk about how criminally underrated Get Out Alive is?

Insomnium - While We Sleep
90

For a band I was never crazy about, this has to be one of the greatest Melodic Death Metal songs ever recorded. It's just quintessential Melodic Death Metal.

Chevelle - Sci-Fi Crimes
82

I'm not sure why so many Deftones fans are so arrogant towards this band. Chevelle has absolutely NOTHING to envy to Deftones lol

Chevelle - Bright As Blasphemy
75

Yeah this goes hard, simply put.

Slaughter to Prevail - GRIZZLY
50

I'll be generous and give this album a 5. There's some legitimate riffage here and catchy choruses too, but unfortunately all that happened with this band (including Alex's infamous black sun tatoo which he even seems to mention in the opener) just soured the experience heavily personally. I just cannot ignore it.

"@Joorapmon I commend you for completely strawmanning the argument in my review. "commercial" is a term that has multiple definitions and can be used in negative, positive and neutral senses. In this case it's bad because all RM did was take everything that's popular in Western music and make a jumble of it with little success and a lot of misdirection, imo. So, you can tell me all the bullshit in the world and pretend I review certain music with high ratings without any logical thread, like I haven't put thought into it and came to conclusions on why that particular song, album, EP or whatever got the score it got from me, without needing a completely arbitrary metric like "Is tHiS aRt?", but you absolutely failed."

"So if you really want to sound like a condescending jerk, try and get some actual correct information in that gaping hole that you have as a brain, thank you very much."
On Nef's review of Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight
"@Nef Tells a lot about you since it's public knowledge that most of the things Collins was accused of were either straight up unfounded slander or inflated news that over exaggerated by a lot, all due to Phil's huge exposure during the 80s. Without Collins, Genesis would be half the band is today—with or without Peter Gabriel in It. Their 80s music is a testament to their endurance and desire to renew themselves because let's talk honestly, their progressive shtick was becoming serale but OF COURSE someone like you would rather have technicality instead of actual PROGRESSION in music, which resulted in amazing records like Duke or the self-titled, beautiful progressive pop records."
On JustWil's review of Eminem - Houdini
"@wbrab Nope sorry but this is just straight up false. Everything Eminem will do is deemed to be successful and no amount of "Spotify lies" is gonna change that. Plus streams are bigger than phyisical sales these days and yours is just an idiotic presumption about his fans. And dude didn't only sell "500.000" albums, since he's a consistent platinum seller in the US and worldwide. If anything, Eminem fans are one of the few fan-bases that still latch to phyisical sales. Try again."
