the updated mix on this absolutely saves it lol it sounds so fucking good, brings out all the nuances in the instrumental and the synths and bass shine so hard – i really don't understand why this isn't just the base mix of the single.

EDIT: the acoustic version tied to this release is also really, really good. love it!

i can't help but feel the tracklist becomes a bit unfocused and repetitive at times, but it also undeniably has some of the greatest tracks of the year. love the sonic experimentation on this a lot
