This album is the most impressive future funk album, it is able to depict a Lovestory perfectly with the use of zero vocals, just samples. Every song matches perfectly to its description, it’s a brilliant journey overall and the tones of each song feel perfect. This whole album is so alive and it’s a brilliant of showcase of Desired’s talent, it’s also sonically brilliant with all the chopping and shit being perfect!
I’m a big fan of this, xaviersobased puts forward a lot of unique and cool ideas on this short album, it’s great for a debut and just as an album overall.
With great moments being found rarely throughout its majority of generic, boring songs, Pink Tape is overall a very boring listen. It’s not an album to be taken seriously when the highs are overshadowed by its boring lows. If Uzi could keep things interesting, unique and fun with a better runtime and a better sound like on the highlight songs, this album would be incredible but unfortunately, it’s not reached its full potential. It’s not offensive in anyway, I actually ... read more
While having a middle section that lacks quality, maybe being a little too bittersweet at times, and having a sound that has not been perfected yet, Mercurial World is usually a great listen, it’s enough to impress me even if it has its lows. The start and end section of the album are usually brilliant, the album has incredible highs, and the work of Matt & Mica succeeds at creating an atmosphere that is airy and dreamlike.
This album feels like youre in a video game from the future, with its dazzling, smooth production and soft, lush vocals. The atmosphere is incredible here, with the progression and switch ups in production being amazing, the whole album is thought through really well, it feels really refreshing and unique!
i know music like this has maybe been ruined for some people with this wave of “Patrick Bateman sigma phonk music” that is now just seen as really cringe, and this album may fit into that sort of category but I don’t even care, this album just puts me into another world with its hypnotic soundscape.
this album makes me feel like I’m in a neon city at night, speeding down the highway, surrounded by glowing lights in a world far into the future, undiscovered, mystical. ... read more
brave little abacus continue to wrap me in warm hugs with their music! this is a very raw but charismatic live performance!
brave little abacus are one of my dream bands to see live, but just listening to this through headphones makes me feel like im there, the band seem to have such a closeness with the audience, it makes the listener seem part of the crowd with its narrations and speeches given to the crowd!
I honestly like Bad Bunny’s style, and the whole vibe of Reggaeton in general, it’s fun and reminds me of a nice sunny holiday.
However this album is far too bloated, and with the style being very simple and repetitive, it does get very boring unfortunately.
It needs to be longer!! But I’m very impressed with the quality that this project does offer, despite it being short for an album that goes so deep into Travis Miller’s mental health. This album sounds cryptic and isolating, with Ugly Mane’s lyrics sounding apocalyptic, theyre very abstract and honestly I could read through the lyrics on songs like “Man Wearing a Helmet” all day. Also, there were some amazing, emotional vocal performances on songs like “Haze ... read more
Thanks for 100 followers!
I listened to part of this album while reading manga, which was obviously hella relaxing. But I listened to the last song while on a boat ride in the sun and damn, it was serene as hell! This is probably my 3rd favourite release from desert sand feels warm at night, I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Why is the score so low this is amazing
