getting CEO HELL MACHINE 'WHEN THE BEAT DROPS I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL MYSELF' CHARLIE KIRK DROPS DEAD 'YOU'RE BEING TRACKED BY THE GRID THE EYE IN THE SKY IS WATCHING WE'RE COMING FOR YOU PREPARED TO DIE' vibes from this
Does not deserve a low rating. Fuck Hirohito, and the pornographic cult of personality his fascist ass had.
While I often enjoy the 'one song which could be its own album due to length' gimmick, I did not enjoy it as much on this album. That is not to say that the track is bad, but I would say that it would have been a better idea to split it up. Otherwise, really good.
I actually really enjoyed the vocals. They are almost overarching, in the same way the music is
I do not really see the appeal. Perhaps I would rather them not teeter the line between synth-pop and baroque pop and go all out on one of the genres, instead of combining elements which do not mesh in my opinion
its peaks high, though boring otherwise
Maybe stick to the really memorable songs
good, but you will only get something out of this if you like father2006's other stuff
Fun! Certainly not the best, but really interesting and probably pretty innovative within Japanese synthpop.
Except for maybe 'Saoirse,' this album is masterful.
Some of the most interesting recent rock.
Internet Dance-Pop, though in a good way. The Kero Kero Bonito way.
While not as textured nor unique as 'Imaginal Disk,' it is certainly some of the best dance I have heard in a while
Fun Czech trip-hop. While not extremely unique, I would say it is worth a listen.
Really enjoyed this one, the drums are heavenly.
The piano performances found on the more ambient tracks should not be dismissed either.
I do wonder why Siouxsie and the Banshees are not as popular on AOTY as I would imagine.
They hold a special place in my heart, for me it is music I often bond over. This album also holds some songs which I would easily describe as goth rock perfection, or even perfection overall.
