I will not be the first nor last person to describe this album as atmospheric, though it is undoubtedly true.
It almost evokes images of space, though not of its bright stars or its lonely expanse. Instead, its images lie in the malice of having to survive in a world not made for you, a world long abandoned.

I believe a comparison to a machine gun is somewhat an understatement of the unpredictability this album evokes.
It is almost like a storm, one that you are engulfed in, one which throws you around but does not let go.
And once that storm passes, you cannot help but yearn for its uncertainty once again.
Highly recommend.

A pretty fun and interesting samba-jazz album.
Everyone knows it for the MF DOOM sample, though I feel that understates the album.

There is a lot of enjoyment to be found within the chaotic whirling of the fire. Its grandness cannot be overstated, an imposing flame in the title is appropriate
