Came for the MF DOOM sample, stayed for the smooth, funky Jazz.
Besides that, the rest of these tracks are just as well performed. It's so weird hearing the original sample for a song that you listen to constantly, but hearing the original sample just makes me appreciate the musicianship that goes into sample flipping, and Madlib and DOOM did such a great job implementing it within the track without it feeling off at all. AI MEU DEUS QUE LINDO. Nossa, oque foi isso??? AMEI DMS!!!! Que melodias lindas senhor, se o álbum todo fosse no mesmo nivel de qualidade das melhores faixas seria 100 com certeza.
E tipo, eu gostei de todas as faixas, mas essa go round me matou completamente, ela tipo, me pegou, e enfiou uma faca no meu peito, eu não sei exatamente pq eu senti isso, mas essa musica eh muito linda.

When it comes to top tier locked in 70's Jazz look no further than Troupeau blue. So much energy and persistant vision that just breaks down things into the most crushing mind melting journey into time and space without being too pretentious about it. Shout outs to MF Doom for shining the light on this gorgeous piece.
