another fantastically funky album from Cortex, nothing less than I expected from the French jazz-funk band that got me into jazz in the first place. this one seems a a little more slowed down but the funk is still there and very hard to not groove to. I do miss the sweet and soft high pitched vocals from Mireille, with them being traded out for a male vocalist singing in English rather than French, but his vocals are still as charming as ever and it doesn't affect my opinion of the album ... read more
