I was feeling pretty crap today and this album got me right out of that feeling. as soon as the first song i couldn't help but start dancing and grooving to the music because this album's funk is just so infectious. it's hard to put into words how much joy this band's music gives me.
Its definitely a step down in quality from the previous two great albums (vol. 2 and Troupeau Bleu) but Pourquoi is still a brilliant album from two great instrumentalists. Although less focus is placed on the instruments themselves, the vocals of Alain Mion never get tiring. A great listen that will keep growing on you.
