This album gets a lot of hate for the experimental approach that Tyler has here, but I find it commendable. Sure, certain times the mixing and production of songs is questionable. Songs like BUFFALO, RUN or KEEP DA O'S are sort of hard for me to revisit. But for all the negative moments this record has, it can also have a lot of gems and remarkable songs. This is such a classic in so many ways man, I love this album so much. It has such a tightly-knit and perfected sound, embodying the free nature of youth and summer in a way I've never listened to before. I mean, I've listened to this album dozens of times by now, but it still feels so fresh and colorful. It competes with Igor for the title of Tyler's best work.
Highlights: Garden Shed, See You Again, 911/Mr. Lonely.
I don't know what I expected when I read "speedcore" as a genre, but I think this album is a great representation of it. It has a frenetic, unstoppable sound, often interrupted by small moments of reflection and serenity, that I don't think I've really heard before. Pretty cool!

Not really my thing. It has some cool elements here and there but a lot of songs feel hollow and repetitive, which I guess that it's part of the genre but I don't really vibe with it.
