If Nothing But Thieves' debut saw them being a middling, commercially acceptable rock band, then "Broken Machine" sees them desperately trying to make their own sound... and the results are nothing short of impressive! These songs have a sense of energy and raw passion that was never found on their other effort! The production and instrumentation are punchy, satisfying and a lot more varied, Conor Mason's vocals are stunning and the choruses... oh my gosh the choruses! These choruses are tasty as FUCK! Overall, this is a huge step up for the UK band and I cannot wait to see what else they have in store!

Can’t agree more, the choruses are so extremely sticky (I completely missed your review of this album somehow)
