JID - The Forever Story
97

I heard this album was good from a couple of different sources so I decided to try it out during my "Listening To 100 Albums in 2024" project. I couldn't have wished for anything better. This album's lyrics and sampling are absolutely excellent, and almost every single song is amazing. JID is one of the best in the game right now and I can't wait to hear more from him.

Beach Bunny - Tunnel Vision

This is my favorite album of 2025. Had the honour of seeing Beach Bunny in concert and it was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life, they have become my favourite band and I absolutely love this project from them. There isn't one song on here I would consider subpar, it all has such a good vibe and tons of replay value. Can't recommend this album enough.

Childish Gambino - Camp

It’s pretty corny and a little bit uninteresting at times. High highs, low lows, and a lot of mid in between. Overall I do like it, but there’s too much that didn’t land for me to rate it higher. Lyrically super fun, but it just doesn't feel like a complete listen.

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl

There was one good song I guess, but a whole lot of mid and dogshit fill every corner of this album. Taylor's lyrical ability has practically vanished at this point.

Sir Chloe - I Am The Dog

Genuinely one of my favorite albums I've ever listened to. I could listen to any song on here and really enjoy it, it's solid from start to finish. Sir Chloe is definitely the best artist I've discovered this year and I'm hyped to hear more releases.
