It's very easy to deem something so directionless and structureless as one of the best albums of all time. To criticize something, especially from the subjective perspective, one needs something to latch onto. Having an album be a slog of absolute nothing makes that very difficult.

I don't get it at all, everything sounds the same. I feel absolutely nothing when listening to it. It's just the same generic breakcore drum loop over and over again, with uninteresting electronic noises that may sometimes add a semblance of a melody.
This collection has solidified in my mind that Bon Iver is, in fact, the goat of music.
This could be 7 songs long. There isn't enough musical variation that's adding value to the first 7~ songs to justify this being so long.
When it comes to the first half of the album, it's great. Songs like dance, beat up chanels or crank are amazing, with a clear direction, very similar to Yeezus. But later on it feels like it stretches ideas and energy over too many songs, making it less interesting.
Making an album that is 22 songs in length be strong from start to finish is really something. A perfect ending to The Weeknd.
