At first glance this album might seem boring, because of the lack of production and variety in instrumentation. But I believe that this does an excellent job at giving more room to Ichiko's voice and really letting it shine, as it would get drowned in too much production.
This album also sounds very personal, which is why also having Ichiko sing and play a guitar actually enhances the experience and let's it have a bigger emotional impact. I don't know how to describe it but ... read more
Side B feels like if you compressed all of the energy of EMOTION into a shorter runtime while keeping the quality.
Something that I find to be really underrated about this album and Carly's work in general, is how she manages to deliver the vocals. Something about her delivery just sounds really playful and fun. This is only amplified but these really simple but fun rhyme patterns.

Finally after 500 years this album has been added.
Anyway this I like this album a lot. It's super cozy
really underrated
This album gives of these dystopian/tribal vibes, which make it an interesting listen. The production of this album gives of a really specific vibe which keeps the album entertaining throughout, it's seriously pretty easy to listen to a big chunk of this album without getting bored. There are a couple tracks that I don't care for much, but none that I hate. It's a really solid album from start to finish.
This album pretty much requires multiple listens regardless of how simple the music might seem. With each listen one gets to realize that every song is perfect.
There's something really unique about the 2018 kanye era. The vibe of this album and Kids see ghosts is so different from the rest of his discography
Windswept Adan is definitely enjoyed best as an ambient album. Even though it has more conventionally written songs that can be listened to on their own the true beauty of the album only becomes apparent if you listen to the whole album in one go.
This album gives of a very whimsical, fairytale vibe, especially because of the gorgeous instrumentation, sounds of nature sprinkled in the production, and obviously Ichiko's own voice, which is very light and airy. As stated before the album is ... read more
