While there are a few low moments, this album has one of the best track flows of any hip hop album I've ever listened to. Specifically the last four tracks are all soooo quotable and funny, with "Vomitspit" being the absolute king of this. Iykyk. Also the first album I bought a physical copy! It was on sale.
Now that soundtracks are separate from other albums, I feel better rating these how they work based as part of a game, rather than an album listen. This is my first (and probably only for a while) persona game, and probably has my favorite soundtrack of all of them. I don't care what others say, Mass Destruction is way better in this game! I can't understand French, but these people's flows and tone just work for me. The instrumentals are also fantastic, with a highlight being the third track's slow, soft strings telling a story even without the lyrics.
There's a review that gives this album a mediocre score in this website somewhere that half jokingly says that this album is for zoomers who think that saying the word "Gila" 50 times in one song is the funniest thing ever done. Hello!
EUGHGGHGGGHGH I wish I had the physical capability to rate this low, unfortunately my arbitrary and completely unprecedented personal rules prevent me. There are sooo many annoying songs like "boomerang" and "digital" grinds my earholes. My friend actually liked the weird bassy breakbeat adjacent section so I might just be hating
